🐝Bee Multiplication Tables – Association and Cutting Activity🐝
Looking for a way to review multiplication tables without the usual "ugh"?
I created this Bees & Hive-themed activity that's been incredibly successful with my kids!
Why use it in class?
Sometimes kids get tired of writing lines and lines of calculations.
This worksheet turns math into a little "math gardening" project:
Color it: relax and get creative before starting. 🖍️
Calculate: find the right bee for each cell. 🧠
Cut and glue: goodbye boredom, hello fine motor skills! ✂️
How the worksheet is made:
I paid close attention to accuracy:
On the left is the basic honeycomb with the results.
On the right are the hexagonal tiles with the bee-operations.
The hexagons to cut out are the same size as the cells: the final result is clean, tidy, and perfect for gluing to a notebook!
What you'll find in the download:
Black and white PDF (this saves toner and the kids have fun coloring).
Super cute graphics that make math less scary.
An activity that keeps kids busy and focused for a good hour!
Ideal for: 2nd and 3rd graders in elementary school, but also great as a review for older kids or for support.
Have fun! 🐝🐝
