Present Simple / Present Continuous Challenge

The tasks vary in difficulty, and I choose them based on the level of the group I am working with. Students love competition. Even boring grammar exercises bring them enjoyment.

Rules:

Students work in pairs. The selected tasks are available on the first desk in the same number as the number of groups. The task is simple: complete as many examples correctly as possible in the shortest amount of time. Each task is worth 10 points, so adding up the scores is quick and easy. A group can only work on one task at a time.

The material includes 24 exercises:

• 8 exercises – Present Simple
• 8 exercises – Present Continuous
• 8 exercises – Present Simple vs Present Continuous
